Rajan has always been a champion of an idea and has successfully driven multiple products from inception to multi-billion $ revenue. Before founding DataPelago, Rajan served as the CTO of Fungible.

Rajan built an elite engineering organization that pioneered hardware-software co-design and contributed to the architecture of DPU, a de facto third computing socket in the data centers alongside CPU & GPU.

Before Fungible, he led the architecture team in Cavium’s CTO department as Distinguished Engineer, where he helped define domain specific accelerators for Cavium’s flagship OCTEON family of multi-core processors.

Rajan’s experience includes leadership and management roles at Cisco & Oracle, with a strong background in networking and data systems. Rajan is a prolific innovator with 150+ patents issued and pending.

Rajan received a Bachelors’s in Mechanical Engineering from the Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology, India, and a Master’s in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Dan is the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) at DataPelago. Before joining he was a corporate officer with Teradata, and a member of the Executive Leadership Team, where he played a pivotal role helping. Teradata shape the landscape for large-scale complex analytics. Dan was at the forefront of working with customers to provide business value and innovation. This included customer-facing roles in multiple facets of the business, with fifteen years in sales, nine in International, and six living abroad in Europe. Sales recognition includes the Chairman’s award given to the top global sales leader. He led the global Teradata marketing organization, and was Executive Vice President supporting the engineering and product management functions. He was Chief Customer Officer responsible for over 5,000 associates across the global consulting centers in India, region consulting, sustaining engineering, support services, and led the public and private cloud delivery teams.

Dan earned a master’s degree in business management and graduated with distinction from the J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Angelo State University, graduating summa cum laude.

Prasad is the Chief Customer officer (CCO) at DataPelago. Prasad is a thirty-five year industry veteran with a successful track record in delivering multi-billion dollar growth initiatives in medium to large companies. His assignments have spanned transformative roles as a public company CEO at QLogic, Senior VP EMC Solutions and VP in Intel’s Enterprise Business unit and IT. During this period, Prasad has incubated and scaled multiple teams to deliver game-changing solutions in deep engagements with lead end-customers and eco-system partners to accelerate growth.

At Intel, Prasad lead a ground-up End-user Platform integration team to prioritize manageability, security, analytics use cases and features on Intel’s x86 data center and client roadmap and was the go-to-person for winning large customer deals. At EMC, Prasad scaled a global solutions capability for creating new lines of business in the channel and cloud. As part of Intel’s operations, Prasad has led multi-year, complex cross-functional corporate initiatives laying a differentiated foundation for TCO and agility across Intel’s fabs (shop floor systems and automation) , Supply chain ( SAP ERP rollout) and core IT operations (migration to client/server on Windows standard).

Prasad was a CIO 100 honoree in 2001, 2002 and is the winner of three Intel Achievement awards (highest recognition of merit).

Alay brings 20+ years of experience in the tech industry and has spent the last 10 years in SaaS and cloud infrastructure space primarily focusing on problems in the data and security areas. Alay is a builder and during is career he has built many 0-1 products at his own companies, early stage startups, and as part of large multinationals.

Most recently, Alay was VP & GM at Very Good Security, which helps customers meet compliance standards by storing and operating on PII and sensitive data. Before VGS, he was Head of Product at Shoreline, an incident management platform that monitors hundreds of thousands of metric telemetry data, every second, to identify problems and automatically fix them.

Earlier, Alay led product management at AWS where he focused on increasing the security, usability, and durability of S3 and drove ML-based data wrangling functionality as part of a new data lake service (AWS Lake Formation).

Alay holds an MBA from The Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Rutgers University, NJ, and a Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the L.D College of Engineering, India.

John Janakiraman has led the research and development of products and services in enterprise applications, data & analytics, cloud computing, and enterprise computing through his career at Emergys, Microsoft, Skytap, and HP.

Most recently, John was the CTO & COO of Emergys where he led the global development and operations teams for public cloud-based applications and services including for enterprise resource planning, data lakes, conversational AI, and warehouse automation. With Microsoft Azure, he launched service health monitoring services and analytics portal for all of Bing, processing and machine learning on over a petabyte of data. As CTO of Skytap, he built and launched the Skytap Cloud and CSC CloudLab services, pioneering cloud for enterprise applications. At HP, he led the development of hardware and software innovations related to Xen server virtualization, high-end server architecture for HP Superdome, and Smart Data Center automation.

John holds many patents, has authored several publications, and has been a speaker at leading industry and academic conferences. John has a Ph.D. in Computer Science from UCLA, and a B.E. in Electrical Engineering & in Computer Science from BITS, Pilani, India.
